Every oak fireplace beam in this collection is handcrafted to order in our Yorkshire workshop, cut from solid sustainably sourced oak and finished to your specification. Available in four styles and four finishes, no two beams leave the workshop the same.

Choose your style. The Farmhouse beam is our most traditional — natural live-edge character, soft grain, suits period cottages and rural properties. Country Cottage brings a heavier, more sculpted feel with rounded edges and prominent knot detail. Rustic Reclaimed replicates aged, weathered timber with deep tonal variation and visible surface texture — the closest look to a genuine reclaimed beam without the unpredictability. Contemporary is our cleanest option: kiln-dried, smooth-edged, minimal knots, suited to modern and Scandi-influenced interiors where the grain does the work without the rustic drama.

Made to your dimensions. Choose your length from 80cm up to 240cm, with cross-sections to suit standard and larger chimney openings. If the standard profiles don't fit your chimney breast exactly, get in touch — cutting to specific dimensions is standard practice for us, not a premium add-on.

Fitting to a plasterboard chimney breast? We produce a lightweight hollow-core version of each style with an identical solid oak face. It carries the same appearance as a full solid beam but is built for walls that can't take the weight. Browse our fireplace beams for plasterboard walls.
