Delivery Areas

We deliver to UK Mainland and Ireland. All standard orders include free delivery. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Islands and the Republic of Ireland may incur additional charges, which will be confirmed before dispatch. Please contact us at support@cottage-beams.com before ordering if you are unsure whether your address falls within our standard delivery area.

Lead Times

All our products are made to order. Our current lead time is displayed on our website and is updated regularly. Lead times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods.

We recommend waiting until your product has been delivered and inspected before booking a fitter or installer. Cottage Beams accepts no liability for costs incurred as a result of booking a fitter before receiving and checking your product.

Delivery

All deliveries require a signature. If you are not available, the courier may attempt delivery to a neighbour. We do not instruct couriers to leave products in a safe place unless you specifically request this. If you request safe place delivery, you do so at your own risk.

If delivery fails after multiple attempts and the product is returned to us, you will be responsible for any additional delivery charges to rearrange delivery. If you refuse delivery, you will be responsible for all delivery and return costs incurred.

Courier Performance

Whilst we work with trusted delivery partners, courier delays may occasionally occur outside our control. We do not offer discounts or compensation for courier delays. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Damaged on Arrival

If your product arrives damaged, please note the damage on the courier's delivery receipt at the time of signing and contact us within 2 calendar days at support@cottage-beams.com with photographs. Please retain the product and all packaging until the matter is resolved.
